Project Description and Objectives

Additive Manufacturing has unique characteristics that make it suitable for adoption across a wide range of sectors, enabling the production of customized, high-value-added products that are both economically and socially sustainable. INOV.AM is a program promoting innovation in Additive Manufacturing, comprising companies from various sectors and a group of entities from the national scientific community, aimed at development in several areas of intervention, including: new materials, advanced additive manufacturing processes, advanced post-production processes, advanced automation and control software, new products, and training and capacity building for human resources. In order to train company personnel in core areas of additive manufacturing, another objective of this program is the development of an advanced training/certification plan, which will be implemented across all application areas covered by this program.

 

GLN Scope of Action | WP1 – Hybridization

The goal is to introduce additive manufacturing into integrated production cells to enhance technological integration, thereby enabling the industry to develop hybrid products in a sustainable and cost-effective manner, while reducing time-to-market and simplifying the necessary processes, tools, and equipment.
