Project Description and Objectives

Additive Manufacturing has unique characteristics which mean that it can be adopted in a wide range of sectors, enabling the production of customised products with high added value and which are economically and socially sustainable. INOV.AM is a programme to mobilise innovation in Additive Manufacturing, made up of companies from various sectors of activity and a number of entities from the national scientific system, aimed at development in various areas of intervention including: new materials, advanced additive manufacturing processes, advanced post-production processes, advanced automation and control software, new products, training and human resource capacity building. In order to train companies’ human resources in core additive manufacturing subjects, this programme also aims to develop an advanced training/certification plan, which will be implemented across all the application areas covered by this programme.

Scope of action GLN | WP1 – Hybridisation

Aims to introduce additive manufacturing in integrated production cells in order to boost the technological combination to enable the industry to develop hybrid products in a sustainable and economical way, with a reduction in time-to-market and simplification of the necessary steps, tools and equipment.
